• Power BI
Microsoft Power BI is the native Business Intelligence component of D365. Both ERP and CRM solutions are great data collection tools, but their true value lies in analyzing, interpreting and presenting the captured data in order to facilitate better business decisions. Power BI allows you to do just that – it even has pre-built dashboards and KPIs for many business areas and processes.
Microsoft Flow is a no-code/low-code tool to automate otherwise manual processes. It allows superusers to create flows without any developer skills. This includes triggers to start the flow, and the steps and tasks to be completed. A flow can, for example, be triggered by an email arriving, which leads to a new contact creation in D365 for Sales, and many other events across D365, Office 365 and beyond.
• Power Apps
Power Apps allows superusers to create data viewing, entry forms and small apps without the need for developer skills, and without making customizations to the ERP or CRM solution. Power Apps can access data from D365 as well as the Common Data Model, allowing Power Apps to be seamlessly integrated into the D365 platform and data.
• Common Data Service
The Common Data Service is the glue that allows D365 to be a single coherent solution, and to avoid unmaintained data silos across the business. The Common Data Model is also the foundation of integrated end-to-end processes. For example, D365 for Sales and Operations extends from the sales opportunity all the way to the cash process.
